Membership in WASCA is open to any organized group of square dancers, consisting of at least eight (8) couples, which has held regular dances for not less than six (6) months preceding the date of application. Groups which are otherwise qualified, but have not met the six-month requirement, are accepted as Associate Members, with the full benefits of membership, but without vote, until this requirement is met. WASCA also welcomes Round Dance clubs and Clogging clubs.
A club may join WASCA by completing an application form (or fillable application form) and mailing it to the address listed on the form, along with a check in the amount of $25 made out to WASCA. The application must include the name(s) of the WASCA delegate or delegates. See the next section below for instructions on joining WASCA. The difference between the application form and the fillable application form is that you may fill out the fillable form on your computer, then print the form with your infomation. Otherwise, simply print the form and fill it out by hand.
WASCA membership assures your club to have a voice in the annual Spring Festival and other major dance activities in the area. All member clubs are provided WASCA business liability insurance (insurance coverage example). All member clubs are provided the opportunity to provide a news column in our information packed Calls 'n' Cues publication and provided a discount to any paid advertising.
All member clubs are provided WASCA business liability insurance for club sponsored activity. Each club is responsible for renewing their coverage yearly when they renew their WASCA membership. Below is the contact information for the agent to contact for WASCA business liability insurance:

Any member club can take advantage of the Promotional Fund Program by documenting their financial need on the Promotional Fund Application and submitting (by e-mail or snail mail) to WASCA's Vice President. WASCA' Vice President will process the request through the approval process.
WASCA Club renewals are due June 1st of every year. The renewal form is WASCA Clubs Application & Renewal Form, (or fillable application form)

You may fill in the fillable form on your computer , then print it with your information. Or you can of course print either form and fill it in by hand.
Please fill the form out completely--a Delegate's name must be provided. Print the completed form and email it with a check made payable to "WASCA" in the amount of $25 to the Membership Director (listed on the form).
Keep a completed copy handy for your club's records. Your club's data sheet is the key resource for communications and is also used for insurance purposes. If changes occur it is important to let us know of the changes as they occur.
